It has been an interesting cross section of reactions so far regarding my price structure for photo services. I don’t fault those who don’t understand my thought process, or wonder if I have gone insane. Maybe I have.
What have I done? Nothing yet. (For Charity) I just turned down a wedding in September because of a scheduling conflict. I have a few jobs on the horizon. I just filed paperwork with the state to become a non-profit, which I have learned that has been preliminarily approved. As far as I know, I may be the only photographer that is doing something like this. I suspect that I am on to something.
For 44 years I have lived my life as a taker. For whatever remaining time I have left, I’d like to give something back. Tell me what is wrong with that?
